Comments

As in Green above.

Resistance Management: Coptyzin is a member of the inorganic copper group of fungicides. GROUP M1 FUNGICIDE Some naturally occurring individual fungi and bacteria resistant to Coptyzin and other Group 1 fungicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any population. These will not be controlled by Coptyzin or other Group 1 fungicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungal population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. Since the occurrence of resistance is difficult to detect prior to use, Micro-Nutrients NZ Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Coptyzin to control resistant fungi or bacteria. Consider the application of a different active ingredient from a different mode of action group at least once per year.

Other Application Instructions:

Shake container adequately before use. Avoid the use of stickers/adjuvants. Avoid spraying to run off especially when spraying young plants/vines. Use fine droplet nozzles. Do not apply under slow drying conditions or in temperatures above 26°C.

Withholding period: Do not apply later than 7 days before harvest.

Compatibility: Coptyzin is compatible with most commonly used foliar fertilizers, fungicides, and insecticides except oil based and emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulations. Do not mix with adjuvants or strongly alkaline or acidic compounds. Conduct a test for compatibility with other chemicals and tolerance to crop injury prior to full-scale commercial use of a tank mix.

General warning: Excessive use of copper including an increase in the application rate can result in phytotoxic damage to vegetative growth and fruit. Do not apply Coptyzin to plants that are stressed due to excessive moisture, excessive wind, cold weather, disease, drought or excessive previous applications of other substances. Use in combination with other bactericides may result in crop damage.

DISPOSAL:

Disposal of container: the empty container should be triple rinsed, rinsate added to the spray tank and the container rendered unusable by crushing or puncturing. Bury in a suitable landfill, or dispose of at a local body recycling container collection depot.
